Hi Sharon, what a neat video, my family watched and laughed and smiled as your family was doing the same.
From what I have researched, bullfrogs make these sounds as a type of warning mechanism. If the frog gets attacked, making that sound might scare a predator who might let the frog go. I found another video on youtube of a bullfrog doing this very same thing.
